A flight from Cairns Queensland, to Groote Eylandt Australia was forced to make two separate emergency landings after passengers couldn’t stop fighting. Four passengers were charged over the two incidents, and the plane suffered a broken window. One passenger can be seen using a glass bottle as a weapon.

The Alliance Airlines flight originally took off from Cairns, only to be diverted back an hour later. According to an AFP spokesperson, "A female passenger was removed and charged with disorderly behavior on an aircraft, common assault, and failing to comply with safety instructions by cabin crew."

Once the plane took off again, it didn’t take long for the remaining three problem passengers to resume hostilities, this time breaking a window in the aircraft. When the plane landed in Groote Eylandt, security was waiting, and the three passengers were charged with disorderly behavior in a public place, among other charges.

“Good thing only the inner window was broken!” one person commented, as breaking an outer window could have resulted in catastrophic loss of cabin pressure. “They all should be banned for life from flying,” another person added.

Alliance Airlines has reportedly paused new online ticket sales and is reviewing safety procedures along with Cairns Airport, and the police.
