People Are Already Calling for the Release of the Louvre Jewel Thieves
The internet deemed the crime “too cool to be punishable.”

Last week, a group of thieves stole some jewels from the Louvre. Strangely, the reaction from the general public was not one of sympathy, but of “Heck yeah, brother — that’s rad!”
In an era rife with phishing scams and crypto rug pulls, it was genuinely refreshing to see an old-school robbery that didn’t directly hurt anyone and featured a plot that felt straight out of a Mission Impossible film.
While the criminals were able to flee the scene initially, two people were arrested over the weekend — and the internet says that they should be freed. Why? Because, well, if you manage to pull off a stunt like that, you should get *something* right?
Come onnnn yall hate fun, let them have this :/ pic.twitter.com/N8HfshPmxo

Posts announcing the arrests are filled with calls to “Free them!” and questions regarding “Who snitched?” There are also some who say they are withholding their opinion on the robbers until we find out whether they’re hot or not.
The question is: Is “The crime was sick AF” enough to convince a jury to nullify? We’re about to find out!
