Parents Are Terrified Their College-Age Children Are Too Dumb for Keys
Give them a *little* credit, geez.

As parents around the country prepare their kids for college, some have begun to wonder, “Is my kid too stupid for this?”
Now, in all likelihood, this is an unjustified parental fear — I promise your kid will be able to figure out how to walk the two blocks from the library back to their dorm without getting robbed or falling into a sinkhole — but you just can’t tell a worried parent that they’re worrying too much. It’ll just make them worry more!
And so, what does a worried parent do? Why, go on Facebook, of course!
In a thread started by X user TxRecon1, people have begun sharing the most ridiculous parental questions they’ve seen posted on college discussion groups. According to internet users, they’ve seen everything from “We use an app to unlock our house so I’m worried my child won’t know what to do with a key,” to “Will there be a golf cart available to pick my kid up from class?”
To these parents, I promise you your kid will be fine — and likely puking through their freshman orientation no matter how many keychains you give them.
