Any parent will tell you just how difficult it can be to travel with kids. Not only do you have to pack for them and carry all their stuff, but the whole time, there’s a strong chance they’re going to be screaming and crying about it!

Two parents in Spain realized that this could happen and allegedly decided, well, what if we just don’t bring the kid?

In order to better understand what happened, just imagine that the parents in Home Alone *also* hated Kevin. Basically, according to the airport worker who shared this story, two parents and their child were at the airport getting ready to fly off for a vacation when the parents realized that the child’s passport had expired. Rather than, I don’t know, call off the vacation, this worker alleges that the parents jetted off without their kid — presumably leaving him at the Auntie Anne’s with a few bucks and an order to “not get into any trouble.”

Thankfully, the child apparently contacted airport security before the flight left, and the parents were prevented from traveling. If you really wanted to get away with this, you should have given him an iPad!
