Some people really love pulling up the ladder behind them.

In a recent clip on Fox News, a group of Turkish immigrants were filmed after they had just paid $10,000 each to enter the United States illegally. They’ve been in the country for less than a day — but that doesn’t stop them from sharing their thoughts on all these people who are coming across the border illegally!

To hear the person who just entered illegally tell it, the U.S. needs to do something about all the people who are entering illegally. After all, he says, what if they’re killers? What if they’re psychopaths? What if they’re American?!?

Of course, users on X/Twitter were quick to roast these people for the obvious hypocrisy. Plus, as many pointed out, if they could each afford the $10,000 needed to illegally enter the country, they could *probably* afford going through at least one of the legal processes for entering our great nation.

I know it’s more complicated than this, but employment-based visa applications cost just under $400 in Turkey — unless there’s something in your background that makes it unlikely for you to get visa approval. You know, what if they’re killers or psychopaths?

Allegedly, they did try to enter the legal way, but had their visas repeatedly denied. Rather than see this as a mark against our visa system, they’ve determined that our border security is the problem.

But who knows why they got rejected? Maybe the U.S. government thought they were going to commit some crime or something — if so, it turns out they thought correctly.
