The Queen was sadly laid to rest today. The internet is mourning in the only way it knows how - by churning out an insane amount of memes. Here are some of the best online takes from the Queen's funeral.
There are two extremely famous people named Charles who hail from Britain. We’re not going to say which one we like more. Let’s just point out that maybe the new King is no match for a cute baby with sharp teeth.
wanna feel old? charlie from "charlie bit my finger" is now the reigning monarch of the united kingdom pic.twitter.com/dSIRRCpl0h

Prince Andrew is a helicopter pilot, the lone royal prince with a full head of hair, and a famed pervert. During the long walk down The Royal Mile, a 22-year-old Scotsman heckled the prince, shouting “Sick old man!” before he was tackled. No one likes insults at a funeral, but no one likes Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew either.

It’s too impressive to outlive Betty White and The Queen and not have something to show for it. Tiktok user @m_est_98 gave her Grandma the spotlight, and at 104 years old, can we just make her the new Queen? Fanning herself with a fat stack of cash is a clear sign of royalty.
Jason Derulo is ever-present at high-profile events. His clumsiness is unrivaled. His suit as white as the Royal Family. Ladies and gentlemen - Jason Derulo has fallen down the stairs at the Queen’s funeral.

It’s worth taking a look back - and remembering that even Queen Elizabeth II noticed how dumb these hats look. They’re a part of a long tradition, but not even the queen could keep a straight face when her husband wore it.
My all-time favorite photo of Her Majesty.

Queen Elizabeth II laughing and giggling as she walked by her husband, Prince Philip, who was dressed in full uniform during an event at Windsor Castle in 2003. #queensfuneral pic.twitter.com/7ZpwzccUGY
Now that he’s King, take a look at Charles tearing up the dance floor. 1985 was a good year for the Prince, showing off his moves and his massive elephant ears with style. We can only hope his reign features the King getting down once again. Please, Charles, make some TikToks!
Meghan Markel and her husband left Britain for good last year, but they made the trip for the funeral. The British press hasn’t been very nice to her, and maybe now we see why. Even in grief, she looks better than every crooked-toothed citizen of jolly ole’ England.
i’d feel so overshadowed rn if i was the queen bc look at this serve pic.twitter.com/eMUiMcxJo0

Well, this one’s just kinda sad. @matta_of_fact is a TikToker and extreme Queen stan who refused to believe the Queen would die any time soon. She cited the Queen’s mother who lived until 101, predicting the queen would reach a similar age. It’s sad that she didn’t, but it did make this video way funnier.
Justin Trudeau was booed by the Brits the other day. Maybe they’re simply jealous of Tim Horton’s, maple syrup, and amazing healthcare. In reality, they’re just mad he was apparently singing Queen songs. Who could blame him? Even in grief, Bohemian Rhapsody slaps.

While every UK TV channel decided to air the Queen’s funeral, Channel 5 went in a different direction. Instead of paying their respects to a legend, they aired The Emoji Movie. Are the producers over there raging anti-royalists? Or simply huge fans of Patrick Stewart voicing poop? Probably both.
