According to Page Six, Kevin Costner recently read a Hollywood Reporter piece that called him as difficult to work with and generally unpleasant. In response, he’s…going to the ocean floor, I guess.

That’s right — rather than take a photo shoot and write a weepy piece about how he’s been “canceled,” Costner has decided that the correct course of action is heading downwards, scouring the depths of the ocean in search of treasure.

His efforts have already proved fruitful. A source told Page Six that he’s already “found gold coins and emeralds recently in the Caribbean.” He’s been so successful, in fact, that the source says he’s “shopping a TV series on finding sunken treasure around the world.”
