One of the latest high-profile victims of Elon Musk's Twitter takeover was none other than comedian Kathy Griffin. Last week, Musk stated that "comedy is now legal on Twitter" but after a wave of blue-checks started impersonating him, he instituted new rules stating "anyone engaging in impersonating another public figure would be banned." Griffin's account was suspended after she changed her handle to "Elon Musk" and began impersonating the CEO.

That seemed to be the end for Griffin, who has been very outspoken about Elon Musk's takeover. However, where there's a will, there's a way. And Mrs. Griffin may have found the most insane loophole imaginable.

The comedian then went ahead and logged into her dead mother's Twitter account. Fans began to realize something was up when @TipItMaggieG, an account that's been inactive since September 2019, all of a sudden sent a tweet out.

Absolute savagery. First order of business? Change her handle to "Elon Musk" with his profile picture to boot.

I someday hope to be this petty. Using my deceased parent's Twitter account to make a stand against a petulant billionaire.
