Recently, Netflix debuted a new documentary called Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser. Needless to say, one of the show’s stars isn’t happy.

Looking back on The Biggest Loser, it’s clear that it wasn’t the most healthy experience for many of those who participated. Participants were made to exercise an absolutely unhinged amount while eating a limited number of calories, all with the hope of losing a lot of weight. Many of them lost weight, but they had also screwed up their bodies so much that most of them ended up gaining it all back, permanently slowing their metabolism and lowering their leptin in the process.

This and other health/personality issues are the focus of Fit for TV — and on-air personality Jillian Michaels doesn’t like it one bit.

Michaels claims that many of the documentary’s most salacious details are wrong. For example, she accuses Dr. Robert Huizenga of lying about never working with her despite emails proving otherwise; additionally, she claims he recklessly pulled contestants off medications while she stepped in to protect them. Furthermore, she denies ever giving contestants caffeine pills or illegal substances, alleging that NBC officials debunked a similar rumor after an investigation.

So why did the documentary paint her in such a bad light? She believes former NBC exec and current Netflix producer Brandon Riegg has been targeting her for years — and now, she says she’s taking legal action.

I guess the real Biggest Loser is our society.
