The company, Rental Kowaihito, allows people to rent “scary” individuals (often with shaved heads and tattoos), who will show up to wherever you need them.

While the company says that these guys won’t do anything illegal, you can still hire them for everyday inconveniences. For example, the service can help you confront colleagues, settle office disputes, intimidate noisy neighbors, stand up to unfaithful partners, recover debts from former employers or business partners, and, if you’re a kid, handle bullies.

Thirty minutes of intimidation costs just $140, though the buyer must pay for travel costs if the job is far away.
