Holocaust memorials, a place for reflection, somber contemplation and for one model, the perfect backdrop for a sexy photoshoot.
An influencer recently learned a hard lesson about stripping down in emotional locales, getting roasted after one Redditor spied her posing between the concrete slabs at Berlin’s Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
“Photoshoot at the Holocaust monument in Berlin,” Redditor u/K0nk3y captioned two photos shared to r/ImTheMainCharacter on Wednesday depicting the unknown model posing in what appears to be a cropped vest, a pair of short shorts, and an elaborate headdress.
Quickly going viral on the subreddit, several angry Redditors flocked to the comments, expressing their disgust at her willingness to take steamy snaps at a place meant to honor the victims of the Holocaust.
“I hate people,” wrote @makemeadayy.
“As a German, I can say we don't claim her,” added u/KingMurri.
“As a Hebrew with a great-grandmother who survived Dachau, I say to her; thanks for making a complete joke of both German and Jewish history,” u/NotTheWizardYouWant fired back. “Congratulations for disrespecting both sides of the playing field. Couldn’t have just gotten a photo shoot by a beach or sunset, no you chose this place out of pure spite.”
Unfortunately, the unidentified model isn’t the only one who has thought to take cheeky pictures at Holocaust memorials, a bizarre activity u/DilbusMcD said he came across while visiting a former concentration camp site.
“The further and further we get away from the Holocaust, the more shit like this helps to trivialize it,” they wrote. “I traveled to Auschwitz a few years ago and saw quite a few people taking selfies out the front. Like… read the space.”
So take it from this soon-to-be ID-ed influencer — nothing kills the mood of a sexy photoshoot quite like the cold, depressing ambiance of a Holocaust memorial.
