Looking to snag a discount on fast fashion items? The answer may be no simpler than guessing random white girl names, according to TikTok’s latest viral shopping trend.
Earlier this summer, creator @allymaz26 shared her secret fast fashion shopping hack – arbitrarily guessing names when it comes time to check out.
“Me typing in every white girl name into the princess polly discount code to see which one gives me 20% off,” she wrote atop a clip of her tapping away on her laptop.
Amassing more than 431,000 since hitting the platform in mid-May, @allymaz26 is far from alone in employing the guess-and-check approach to saving sweet, sweet cash on her orders, a set. Alongside eliciting several all-caps comments including “SAME” and “I DO THIS,” a few others took to stitches to detail just how effective this hack has proven as they snap up new clothing.
“No because it’s literally always Hannah or Emily,” @abcheerful mused alongside @allymaz26’s original clip. “I don’t know who these girls are but they’re getting all my money.”
