‘Go to TikTok. See for Yourself’: Kim Kardashian Says She Thinks the Moon Landing Is Fake

As evidence, she points to “TikTok.”

Back in 1969, we landed on the moon. In the decades since, the worst people you know have become convinced that this wasn’t the case.

This is despite the fact that we have an absolutely enormous amount of evidence that we went up to the moon. We left mirrors up there that you can still see. Pretty much every part of the lunar mission was well documented, and even the Soviets — the people with the most reason to doubt us — were like, “Dang, they really did it!”

Now, that group of imbeciles can count another entrant: Kim Kardashian.

“There’s no gravity on the moon,” Kim K said on The Kardashians. “Why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon is a different print in the photos. Why are there no stars?”

As for where she learned this information, she says the answer is TikTok. Of course it is.

To briefly answer her questions:

  1. The flag isn’t blowing; it has a horizontal rod and ripples from being twisted during setup, making it appear like it’s waving.
  2. People using this talking point are usually referring to museum displays of the inner pressure boots, which are different from the outer overshoes that left the prints. The overshoes were tossed before takeoff to make room for lunar samples.
  3. The camera’s exposure settings weren’t set for the stars, but for the lunar surface.

Naturally, this will do little to convince someone whose mind is easily swayed by a 30-second video — but we have to try!
