Tom Brady has retired for the second year in a row, this time seemingly for good. The 45-year-old made his announcement with a brief video posted to his socials, saying he used up his long-winded goodbye the first time. His ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, has commented on the post.

Following his announcement last year, it was speculated that Gisele had pressured the 45-year-old into the decision, urging him to prioritize family over football after 22 years in the NFL. When Brady altered course and chose to return, a divorce quickly followed

It appeared, at least from the outside, that the greatest quarterback of all time had chosen football over family. So why did he retire after just one more mediocre year when he could have kept everything else? And what must Gisele think?

We got a partial answer when Giselle posted this comment on Brady's Instagram video.

Some might say that this is just Gisele being an adult and wishing her former husband well in his retirement. But you can't help but wonder if there are undertones to the message. "Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life..." A new chapter that could have included me and your kids, but instead you decided to have a losing record and get bounced by the Cowboys in the first round.
