A woman in Germany is currently contesting a €35 ($41) fee she received for, uh, carrying a pony in her trunk.

According to local reports, the woman was pulled over after a cop spotted a full gull-darned pony in her trunk. Though the pony appeared calm (like this was a regular occurrence, perhaps), the cop informed the woman that she could not legally do that, as slamming the brakes with a pony in the backseat would result in the beast flying through your windshield (and probably your head).

The woman, however, disagrees. She says that she has every right to transport a pony in this manner and, thus, she’s refusing to pay the fine.

Who’s right? Well, the cops — but we always appreciate someone fighting for their right to do something dangerous and stupid.
