Gamblers Bet on Whether Zelenskyy Would Wear a Suit. Now, They Can’t Decide If He Did
This is why you’ve gotta be specific with your bets!

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been known to forgo the usual shirt and tie in favor of a more military-inspired look (hey, if my country was at war, I probably wouldn’t want to waste my time matching shirt and shoe colors, either).
Recently, however, some gamblers have begun placing bets on whether the Ukrainian leader would ever show up to events wearing a suit. And as a result, a lot of people are getting their panties in a twist about what does and does not constitute a “suit.”
As reported by Newsweek, Polymarket had a bet on whether Zelenskyy would wear a suit before the end of June. The problem? Zelenskyy arrived at a NATO summit at The Hague just before the deadline wearing a blazer with a buttoned-up black shirt. He also wore a collared jacket.
Now, I ask you: Is that a suit? Because Polymarket says it isn’t, but all the people betting on it really think that that counts.
I think the message here is clear: The house always wins, of course, but you really gotta make sure you understand the terms before you place a bet.
