DC and Justice League star Ezra Miller, known for his role as The Flash, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct in Hawaii. Not far removed from his scene in Zach Snyder's Justice League Cut winning the Twitter decided “Oscars Cheer Moment,” it would seem The Flash ran out of cheer, and was taken in by Hawaii county police for yelling obscenities, and lunging at a man in a bar.

Miller had apparently decided to spend their night at a karaoke bar, before becoming agitated when people predictably began singing karaoke. Miller went so far as to grab the microphone from a woman while she was singing, and later lunged at a man who was playing darts. They paid their $500 bail, and were released.

Miller is not new to the negative spotlight, after a video emerged in 2020 of the actor grabbing a woman by the throat, and forcing her to the ground. The video made its rounds across the internet, but despite the disturbing nature of the video there was never any disciplinary action taken.

Considering the fact that “The Slap” is and will continue to be the main talking point from this year’s Oscars, it’s important to remember that even if you wholeheartedly hate Will Smith’s actions, there are quite a few other celebrities that have done considerably worse things, and are far worse people. Ezra Miller seems like one of them.

The Flash stand alone movie is still set to debut in 2023, and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which Miller also features in, is scheduled for release on April 15. We hope that Miller cleans up their act, but if not, perhaps Hollywood should think twice before casting them in anything again. Either way, there better not be any karaoke scenes in The Flash.
