#justiceforathena, a new hashtag, has gone viral on TikTok after 7-year-old Athena Strand was kidnapped and murdered by a FedEx driver after he delivered her Christmas presents. FedEx and other delivery drivers have been filming themselves with the caption, "Your children are safe on my route #justiceforathena."

On November 30, 2022, Texas girl Athena Strand was kidnapped and murdered by 31-year-old Tanner Horner. The police were called to investigate and FedEx helped in locating and identifying him. He was caught a few days later and confessed to his crimes.

On December 7, 2022, TikTok user @knightzkikz filmed himself working in the back of his delivery truck using the hashtag #justiceforathena and the caption, "Your babys are safe on my route." The video accumulated over 10 million views in just two days.

Over the following days, many other delivery drivers, not just from FedEx made their own videos copying knightzkikz style all under the same hashtag. The support was overwhelming with every video getting millions of views and being shared throughout the internet.

Drivers want to ensure that families are safe during deliveries and that this was not a common occurrence at their jobs. Athena's kidnapping was a horrific event that should never have happened in the first place and puts a bad image of delivery drivers in the eyes of parents.
