Recently, television personality Andy Cohen was accused of doing cocaine with “Housewives and other 'Bravolebrities' that he employs” — and pretty much everyone thinks that’s just fine.
Now, there are other parts of the lawsuit that aren’t the best for Cohen. The lawsuit, filed by Real Housewives of New York City alum Leah McSweeney, alleges that Cohen would give “favorable treatment and edits” to those with whom he consumed the drug, and in general, McSweeney says that RHONY had a “‘rotted’ workplace culture where employees were pressured to consume alcohol,” per Yahoo! News.

A rep for Cohen did tell the Hollywood Reporter that “the claims against Andy are completely false.” That said, the reaction of many internet users to the news that Cohen may have done blow with Bravo celebs was, “Yeah… and?”
Do we want great television or not? I #StandWithAndy 1000%. America's greatest woman-wrangler should get to do blow with his favorites. https://t.co/5sdmGim5Nm

In short, it seems like the internet isn’t surprised by the fact that a gay man whose literal job it is to deal with rich people has ripped a few lines with them. Call me crazy, but if you found yourself at a Real Housewives afterparty, I dare say that you’d do the same before running for the nearest exit.

Yes, there are workplace issues here, and yes, there are other parts of this lawsuit that seem damning. But the internet appears to think that, if you want to make good TV, you’ve got to let the occasional booger sugar incident slide.
