While some Elon Musk supporters might be upset that he selected former NBC and CNN executive Linda Yaccarino to be Twitter’s new CEO, many more fans still love his products, and support his other two main ventures; Tesla and SpaceX.
SpaceX’s most recent Starship rocket launch may have ended in a giant explosion, but that didn’t stop numerous Elon stans from driving across the country to watch it.
Dave Wolf is one such Tesla supporter, who tweeted about driving a Model Y 1,500 miles to watch the launch.
If people understood how good the driving experience is with a @Tesla, they'd never be able to build enough at any price. My trip to Texas to see @SpaceX's SuperHeavy/Starship initial launch was my first time driving a Tesla Model Y for an extended trip.

Other Tesla enthusiasts quickly shared their road-tripping experiences.
Dave, I did the same for the Starship launch on 4/20 in a Model 3 LR! It was the best car rental trip I’ve ever had! I will by a #Cybertruck when they are in production. #Starship launch was such an awesome experience! pic.twitter.com/doBam3VSIR

Couldn’t agree more. Felt the same way when we road-tripped before camp-mode was a thing. Same experience. My X made a great camper-for-two on our trek to view the 2017 Solar Eclipse! Definitely have to do a Starship launch

@davewolfusa I also drove a Model Y from Denver to Starbase to see the test flight. Next launch hit me up it would be cool to do this again

The next SpaceX rocket launch might be a long way away, but when it does come to be, there will be plenty of Tesla road trippers ready to hang out together and watch the Elon extravaganza. But if they do, they better hope it doesn’t explode and damage nearby cars like the last one.
