If I asked you to step out onto a frozen pond, your first question (after the expected “who are you?” and “why are you asking me to do this?”) should be, “Is the ice thick enough for me to walk on it?”

At least, that’s what you ask if you have any sense. Some people just don’t have sense, however, and so, they pull shit like this.
