Everybody knows that the Instagram algorithm is ruthless. How many times have you barely mentioned something in passing, only to see a video or targeted ad pop up on your IG feed later on? It’s as if it knows what you want more than you do.

YouTuber Sonny Fazio learned this the hard way, or should I say the horny way when he posted a tweet complaining that his explore page was completely cluttered with scantily clad Instagram models.

“Instagram is complete Haram,” he said. “Yes, I like titties. But no, I don't like looking at pixel titties.”

The Tweet blew up, racking up almost 50 million views, and a community note reminding everyone that the explore page is tailored to your own preferences.

“It considers the user's past behavior, including the accounts they follow, the content they like, and the hashtags they engage with,” it said. His commentators were quick to remind him of this too.

“Rly appreciate y’all teaching me the social media algorithms,” Sonny Tweeted ironically in response. Shortly after he tried to recreate his viral tweet by showing his TikTok feed. It turns out that Instagram isn’t the only platform that knows his preferences.

Ironically, Sonny’s YouTube bio reads, “Your brain is the outcome of the content you consume.” With that said, it looks like Sonny’s brain consists of social media-tailored thirst traps.

But that’s ok, he admitted that he likes “titties.” And the all-powerful algorithm always shows us what we want.
