One YouTube prankster learned a very important — and very well-deserved — lesson about f—king with strangers after the delivery driver who shot him in the stomach during a practical joke gone wrong was acquitted of aggravated malicious wounding.
A Virginia jury ruled in favor of Alan Colie, who shot social media prankster, 21-year-old Tanner Cook of the Classified Goons YouTube channel, during a stunt last April.

During the prank Cook followed Collie, 31, around a mall in the Old Dominion, continually playing a nonsensical sound from Google Translate on his phone. Though the driver asked Cook to stop three separate times, the influencer refused, the situation ultimately escalating to the shooting.
Cook, whose other pranks have included pretending to vomit on Uber drivers and masquerading as security guards, was hospitalized following the incident and allegedly had his gallbladder removed during surgery, according to his father.
Though the bizarre circumstances surrounding the shooting initially led the jury to an impasse, prompting them to send a note stating that they were “divided in terms of whether the defendant acted in self-defense,” they ultimately acquitted Colie on aggravated malicious wounding.

Colie also faced two gun charges stemming from the incident. He was indicted on one and acquitted on the other.
The only thing worse than a bad guy with a gun is an annoying guy with a YouTube channel.
