Brian S, who goes by the TikTok handle @bsmachinist, lost an eye to cancer. However, Brian is what we’d call an opportunist, turning the setback into an opportunity of the ocular variety. He’s capitalized on this extra socket space to sport some sick cyborg upgrades.
In a recent viral TikTok, Brian gives us the rundown on a bionic flashlight eye he built for himself.
Like something out of a videogame, the eye illuminates with the discreet tap of a button. It’s surreal watching the beam of light shine directly from his skull. Truly, a thing of the future.
He lovingly refers to the invention as his “Titanium Skull Lamp.” According to his TikTok, the absolutely pimpin’ prosthetic gives off no heat, is safe for human use, and is completely self-contained.
But it doesn’t stop there. Brian has developed a collection of bionic eyes and uses his TikTok account to showcase them all. “Where I show off the cyborg eyes I make myself,” his bio reads.
He crafted a custom Rammstein eye based on their logo to wear to the German metal band’s concert. It lights up a ghoulish green.
He even has a customizable copy of the most realistic Sharingan we’ve ever seen. Just be careful not to look directly at it–
