Charlie Kirk’s Face May Be Poisoning AI Image Generators
Internet users say so many people have generated images of Charlie Kirk that other faces are starting to resemble Charlie Kirk.

Last week, AI-powered content creator Kwebblekop posted an AI-generated video of himself meeting Santa Claus. However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed something strange about the creator’s face. Upon close inspection, the AI-generator appeared to have swapped the YouTuber’s face with that of former Conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk.

Why? No one is sure, but it may be the result of a recent internet trend. Just like ChatGPT’s images started turning more urine-soaked-yellow following the “Ghibli yourself” phenomenon, a recent meme trend in which Charlie Kirk’s face is plastered onto other notable images has the internet believing that AI has become poisoned by Charlie Kirk.
In short, because the AI has received so many positive responses from people turning images into Charlie Kirk, it’s begun turning every image into Charlie Kirk.
There’s no real way to confirm whether this is actually happening or if the meme is the actual cause, as most AI-image generators are, by design, inscrutable black boxes. But as people keep posting more Charlie Kirk AI memes, it does seem that faces of other people with passing resemblances to Kirk are simply being corrected to look more Kirk-ified.
This has been primarily noted in videos from Kwebbelkop, but it can be seen in other image generations as well. Try it for yourself: find someone who looks a bit like Kirk, tell an image generator to place them into a new scene, and you’ll notice that the person looks, even just ever-so-slightly, more like Charlie Kirk than they did before. You don’t need to wait until Valhalla — you can do it right now!
