What could possibly go wrong? Everything, it turns out.
It’s got to be confusing to be a bird. Millions of years of evolution give you the incredible ability of flight, then humans come and fuck it up with things like power lines and windows.
The advancements we’ve made in technology have made it difficult for birds to assess what is safe and what isn’t. For example, landing on someone’s balcony is likely safe. Landing on the propeller of their helicopter? Sorry, buddy, looks like you’re going to become dinner now.
In this video, a bird tests fate by flying ever-closer to a helicopter. Eventually, he gives it his all and tries to land on its propeller — only to be immediately split into several pieces.
In the comments section of this video, several people asked whether the bird was okay after this, or questioned why the person filming the video didn’t help the bird. These people, I assume, have never been outside.
To summarize, the bird is dead, and its bird friends have now learned an important lesson about getting too close to helicopters. It’s the goddamn circle of life.
