If you need a full history of how right-wing red-pill bros became obsessed with Matrix lore, you are going to be in slightly over your head here. But in the days since Andrew, and his brother Tristan Tate, were released from prison and placed on house arrest, the most vocal Tate-Simps have been crunching the numbers and connecting the dots behind what they see as concrete evidence, that we do in fact, live in The Matrix.

Andrew Tate and his brother were released from prison last Friday, March 31, which if you can read the tea leaves, or operate a Google search, you’ll see is the same day The Matrix was released in theaters in 1999.

What does this mean exactly? Well, we don’t know, but something! Right?

Adin Ross, who is the most outspoken fan of Andrew Tate, at least the one with the most followers on social media made note of this coincidence in his welcome home post to the brothers on Twitter, captioning his post; “Welcome Home brothers. @Cobratate @TateTheTalisman  it must be a coincidence you guys get out on the release date of the matrix,” including the thinking face emoji to show how perplexing the whole ordeal is.

As to what this coincidence means, Ross had little to say, beyond just ‘asking questions.’ However, Ross wasn’t alone in his Matrix hypothesis surrounding the well-timed release of the Tate brothers.

One Twitter user, who goes by the name ‘Kek Central,’ a reference to the alt-right meme that claims Pepe the Frog is the reincarnation of the Egyptian God of night and darkness, Kek, responded to Tate’s most recent tweet with a cryptic message that would send numerology heads spinning.

Kek Central’s post lacks clarity, however, they too made the hidden connection between take and The Matrix, cryptically tweeting, “3333 shirts at $131- 3333 x 131 = 436,623 - 4+3+6+6+2+3 = 24 - 24 years since The Matrix was released,” to which Andrew and Tristan both responded, “he's beginning to believe.”

While none of this makes sense to us, we can’t help but think it doesn’t make sense to the Tates either.
