Noted sex pest Andrew Tate is in custody again, and it all appears to be thanks to his friend and Kick streamer Adin Ross.
For those who are unfamiliar, Tate is a man who moved to Romania after being accused of sex trafficking and related crimes, a rap sheet that he thinks makes him the ideal person to tell young men how to live their lives. Ross is a streamer on Twitch competitor Kick, and during his streams, he keeps his viewers entertained by showing off his incredible brain and losing lots and lots of money gambling.
The two have a testy friendship, by which I mean Ross does everything short of sucking Tate’s toes. As a result, they share information like any good friends do — and now, some of that information has led to Tate’s arrest.
Here's streamer Adin Ross accidentally revealing Andrew Tate's alleged plan to flee Romania — a lawyer for Tate accusers in the UK confirms to me that Ross's video was what prompted Tate's arrest today on concerns that he would become a fugitive. https://t.co/arg9BPNrLS

During a recent stream, Ross read a message from Tate that announced his intentions to “leave Romania and never [come] back.” However, this also alerted authorities, who took his message saying he was going to leave the country as a sign that he was, well, going to leave the country.
“According to a legal representative for McCue Law, the firm representing four British women accusing Tate of rape and sexual assault, U.K. judicial authorities issued a warrant for their arrests and extradition on sexual abuse charges after ‘we were informed by one of our contacts that an associate of Tate (Adin Ross) had discussed Tate’s intention to flee during a video on the gaming & live-streaming platform Kick,’” reads a piece in Rolling Stone.
Did Adin Ross cause Andrew Tate to get locked up?

As a result of this, Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested by Romanian authorities on Monday.
That said, it should be noted that Tate’s team has denied the accusation, telling Rolling Stone that they “unequivocally deny any accusations that Andrew or Tristan Tate intends to abscond from Romania to evade the judicial proceedings,” and that Ross “misconstrue[d] Andrew’s message to him.”

No matter what happened, if you’re going to try to run away from legal charges by fleeing the country, it’s probably a good idea to just keep that to yourself — or don’t get in a situation where you need to leave the country in the first place.
