Less than two days after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, the FBI announced that they had apprehended a suspect. Well, kind of — they allegedly found a guy and then his dad turned him in — but hey, it’s something!

Or at least, it *felt* like it was something. However, things are getting a little bit weird. First, while officials claimed that incriminating messages were found from accused attacker Tyler Robinson on Discord, Discord itself says they have no record of those messages. Second, Robinson has not only not admitted to the crime, but he’s currently being uncooperative with the investigation, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox.

I guess we should have known this wasn’t going to be straightforward.
