We all want to work less, but few of us actually put in the effort to do so. Now, one man has — and he was just fired for it.
According to NewsFlare, a public worker in Brazil is under investigation after his coworkers realized that he, well, wasn’t there — like, ever.
Upon reviewing the security cameras, they found out that he technically *did* show up. However, he would just walk in, swipe his card and then bounce, presumably to go hang out on the beach eating shrimp on a skewer (I assume this is what everyone does in Brazil).
He was able to keep this going for about two years before being caught, and now, he’s facing 2 to 12 years in prison, plus a fine.
