In theory, our elected officials should be some of society’s most intelligent, reasonable, and mature people. Unfortunately, self-interest, corruption, and our own stupidity as voters means that they are usually anything but.
Fortunately, disagreements aren’t settled on the field of battle anymore, and our crazy politicians are forced to duke things out with their wits and political savvy. That is, until they decide to throw down.
