12 Failed Stage Dives That Resulted in a Faceplant

In theory, a stage dive is a pretty simple act. Someone jumps and others catch them. However, sometimes, stage dives don't go as planned. 

Of course, audience size, audience strength, your own size, and general fan engagement levels are also all important factors to consider when performing a stage dive, but really if the jump and the catch go off without a hitch you’re in the clear. For these unfortunate folks, however, the catch part wasn't up to par. 

So let these 12 clips be a lesson for leapy artists everywhere; before you go flying head first off of an elevated surface towards a bunch of people beneath you, make sure they’re ready, willing, and able to catch you. These 12 people sure didn’t.
